BLIMPS SUFFIELD WINGFIELD LAKE AIR DOCK is the home of the Goodyear Blimp. The fleet of Goodyear blimps are constructed and reapired here. The Spirt Of Goodyear is based here. You can watch take offs and landings from the road. Located on Wingfoot Lake Road West of St Rt 43, about 2 and 3/4 miles South of Waterloo Road.
SUMMIT CO : AKRON - GOODYEAR AIR DOCK --- LOCKHEED MARTIN AIR DOCK One of worlds largest free standing buildings or hanagers. Build by Goodyear to construct the famous Dirigibles. Currently owned by Lockheed-Martin who is building a prototype of a manmouth blimp for the government. Adjacent to Akron Fulton Airport and Derby Downs on Rt 224. AIR DOCK FIRE - On Thur May 18, 2006 a fire on the doors at the North end caught fire. Damage was mostly limited to about one-third of the door's outer skin layer and should not affect the blimp prototype schedule.

PENNSYLVANIA Eight years ago (1998) There were 2 big flea markets in the Poconos. One was North of East Stroudsburg, a nother one South, it may be the one at Windgap listed in the above. Worth checking for if you will be in the area.
MASSACHUSETTS - On the same trip there was another large flea market at Turo or Wellfleet on the Cape at a drive-in theater. Found one of the vendors was from home area, Mantua Portage Co

KENT KENT DAM - FALLS -CANAL LOCK - BRADY'S LEAP Downtown north & South of Main Street Bridge. Remains of Ohio Canal Lock washed out in 1913 Flood. Dam and reservoir area has been modified to meet epa clean water standards. The reservoir area has been replaced by grass with water pumped up to provide water flow over the dam. Still a scenic area.
Brady's Leap is North of Main Street. Legend is indian fighter Samuel Brady escaped the Indians by jumping accross the river at this spot. The channel was widened by the rail road when the track was installed so it was a much narrower channel then.
NELSON Nelson Ledges State Park -- Walking trails through the natural formations carved into the Sharon Conglomerate. The rock material is a better example of this type of rock than found in Sharon Pa, the location for which this formation is named. WAYLAND WEST BRANCH STATE PARK - Boating, camping
